Code 3 Transportation’s Safety Measures Against COVID-19
Across the country, millions of people are still on lockdown to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. But, some people still need to commute to their workplaces. The health and safety of our customers, employees, and partners is our main priority. Ensuring Customer Safety Our buses, vans and limousines are cleaned and disinfected between each ride. Every vehicle of our fleet is clinically cleaned daily. All the interior surfaces in the vehicles are wiped and sprayed using a disinfecting spray and sanitizing wipes. Vehicle exteriors are washed daily. A hand disinfectant bottle is kept in each vehicle and is available on request. All the reading materials are removed from the backseat pockets of each vehicle to combat the current fight against COVID-19. Moreover, amenities like candy, mints, and beverages are temporarily removed, unless requested. Sealed water is still available upon request. Face masks will be offered to our customers if they do not have one. Precautionary Measures For Chauffeurs We follow a strict mandate to have all our chauffeurs wear face masks and gloves during the ride and are asked to avoid shaking hands. Drivers are instructed to wash their hands whenever possible. Drivers are instructed to use hand sanitizer after every interaction or contact with a new surface. Prior to every ride, chauffeurs are screened according to the CDC and Department of Health recommendations. Our chauffeurs will open vehicle doors for the guests to help reduce their contact with unfamiliar surfaces. The sharing of all physical materials with our guests is limited. A safe distance of 6 feet (about 2 arm’s length) with guests is maintained by our chauffeurs during travel. Chauffeurs are trained by medical staff to dispose of the gloves used between each ride to avoid cross-contamination. What safety measures should you take against COVID-19 while traveling? Guests must practice the following measures while traveling: Sanitize hands before and after a ride. Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth. Cough into the bend of your elbow. Wear a face mask if you are prone to frequent coughing or sneezing. If you are experiencing difficulty in breathing or a rise in body temperature consult a doctor. Maintain a safe distance of a minimum of six feet from everyone. Wash hands often with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay home if you are sick. Cover your eyes and nose while coughing/sneezing with a tissue and immediately dispose of the tissue.
